My heart is trained towards God and my eyes are set on Him.
Every show I have will be focused on Him and to glorify God.
This is my very first podcast, and suffice it to say, I want to get this right.

I am a writer, but also a mother of two beautiful teenage boys.
And the wife of my amazing husband.
I'm a full-time writer.

Psalms 18:30-36:
As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord's word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him.
For who is God besides the Lord? And who is the rock except our God?
It is God who arms me with strength and keeps my way secure.
He makes my feet like the feet of a deer; he causes me to stand on the heights.
He trains my hands for battle; my arms can bend a bow of bronze.
You make your saving help my shield, and your right hand sustains me; your help has made me great.
You provide a broad path for my feet, so that my ankles do not give way.
God's way is perfect. It's beautiful. It's hard sometimes to go through life and follow God. The Christian path is not an easy path. I don't think anyone has an easy path. But as a Christian to follow His ways and honor Him in all I do is something I strive to do every day.
But His word is flawless, like it says in verse 30. So I can always go to His word and know that I can be armed with it that day.
Everything in His word is perfect, everything is true and I can trust it.
He shields all who take refuge in Him.
I will be sharing things about my past that has made me who I am. Some are not easy but some are very wonderful and fun. But He has been there with me every step of the way.
As much as I love my husband, that love does not compare with the love I have for my Christ and He has for me. It's humbling, it's miraculous, it's an honor to be viewed by Him as his child, His daughter.
I can't imagine any other person meaning more to me in my life than Christ because of my experiences with Him.
I will share with you in the coming up episodes those experiences.
It's been nothing short of miraculous what He's done in my life.
I can't imagine walking these days without having Him by my side.
And to have the Holy Spirit in my heart and in my life, constantly guiding me and showing me His way and what He wants me for that day.
I'll share with you a prayer I pray every morning:
Be my eyes to see what He wants me to see.
For my mouth, my tongue, to say what He wants me to say.
For my hands to do, to type, what He wants me to do and type.
For my feet to go where He wants me to go.
And my ears to hear what He wants me to hear.
I use all my senses and I ask Him to take over every one of them.
To go back to the verses, He trains my hands for battle.
What a fierce way of saying, as an author, I am in a battle every day.
There are books out there for teenage readers that scare and frighten me.
The terrible element I'mtalking about are the sexual scenes being described to 13 year olds and younger.
Sex is a natural and human thing to desire, but in God's book, it is meant to be done between a man and his wife. And in the holy bond of matrimony.
To have it described is honestly, pornography, and it terrifies me that these teens are growing up with this.
As I write my stories, they're clean, they're meant to glorify God, that's what I'm doing, I'm battling that darkness in the form of Young Adult books.
Let me be very clear in my stance. I do not support that type of writing.
It shouldn't happen in any book for any reader, but especially for the young reader.
We are meant to protect our children and that is not doing that.
I am here to serve God in all I am doing. In the verse, it says, your help has made me great. If I sell a million copies, that's beautiful, it means there are more readers reading the glory of God. That's all I care about.
I couldn't be more thankful for the people supporting me and rooting me on.
I'm trying to make a voice for Christian fantasy. I want to teach you about it. Share with you how wonderful it is.
Christian fantasy is a beautiful expression of God's imagination through His writers.
God is imagination. Why can't imagination run free with stories that defy all expectation? Why can't they be out of this world?
Authors (mentioned below) write lovely, whimsical, gritty stories that sparks the imagination.
They take you through rides that are as fast as a roller coaster and as sweet and slow as a lazy river.
I will be having authors as guests on my show, like Morgan Busse, we will talk about what drives them, fuels them, feeds them. What stories do they love? What are the favorite stories they've written?
I will have readers on my shows that will talk all things fantasy. That can be movies, that can be books, and stories they'd like to read.
Also, will have deeper topics, as well. All topics that a young mind might need to know.
The deepest part of my heart is to show God's love, shine a light on it if you don't know Him. Or encourage you, if you do know Christ as your Lord and Savior, as I do.
There were times in my life, where I rejected and wanted nothing to do with God in my life. So, I understand if you are in that place.
I want you to know there's hope, there's is a light you can have for your own. And don't let anyone talk you out of that.
God is all around us, in every particle of this world. He wants to be with us in every moment and changing us and showing us and guiding us.
He has a plan for you. He has a plan for all of us. I'm excited to see where that plan is going to go.
