These teen book events are ALL super FUN events and have different themes. But, they WILL be based on a "Clean" book as a theme.
"Clean" books do NOT have graphic sex, language or gory violence.
Every teen will leave with a "Clean" book of their choice.
These events will be safe spaces teens can have a great time and learn about other "Clean" books!

the second ever Teen Masquerade Fantasy Ball
will be held at the beautiful Peggy Brown building in downtown Lakeland.
ONLY TEENS CAN ATTEND.
Ages 13-19
MASK REQUIRED.
Be ready to learn a celtic dance at the beginning of the night, then you'll Free Dance the night away!
I am thrilled to announce that lakeland's very own Vampire Penguin will be providing dessert shaved snows the night of the event!
There will be TWO Costume Contests for Best Dressed Guy and Gal! One the night of the event with a cheerometer determining the winner. The second will be an online contest with votes added up to find the winners. prizes such as gift cards, books, and delicious treats will be awarded to the event contest and a Bookstore gift card will be awarded to the online winner!

Gals, transform your prom and homecoming dresses to new and dramatic costumes.
Guys, dress up your suits with a mask or come in a fantasy costume...but remember this is fancy, it's a ball, so dress nice.
